For Tiffin Choir’s performance of Verdi’s Requiem, we wanted the poster to feel beautiful at first glance – and unsettling at the second.

The dying rose became the central image: something once beautiful caught at the point of decay, reflecting the fragility, mortality and remembrance at the heart of the work.

We paired it with an unusually restrained typographic treatment to let the image carry the emotion.
