Brand development

Home is a property website where you can find short-term room rentals in residential homes.

Conceived in anticipation of the Olympics and on the back of numerous reports of there not being enough rooms in hotels to cater for the demand, we were approached to develop a brand for the venture.

We suggested the name “Home” as it seemed to express the cosier values that the client wanted to convey and aligned it with a brand proposition of “always accommodating”. The logo then took its inspiration from the “home sweet home” stitching commonly found on embroidered samplers.

The website was designed to be as simple as possible to either register your home for let or to actually rent a room and reflected the theme of Englishness through iconic photography and chintzy table cloth patterns.
