Ladbrokes is the most respected bookmaker in the country.
They could see that the use of the mobile channel was increasing rapidly across the business and wanted to build on the growth they had seen in the sector.
Our brief was to develop a strong, consistent and memorable graphic language to help promote the mobile channel and to make Ladbrokes the mobile betting channel of choice for all smart phone users.
Our concept was based on the idea that apps are the language of smart phones and are the iconic visual shorthand for all that is available on the mobile platform. And, in a sector that concentrates on the device that say mobile without showing a phone!
“Smarter better” was the slogan we devised to accompany the marketing campaign and was used on all communications. It alluded to a smart company, smart punters, smart phones, smart technology and a smart application. All that combined equated to the offer of a better experience that any of their rivals and invited customers to be part of the smartest crowd.
