Envoi specialises in upstream acquisition and divestment, project marketing and portfolio advice for the international oil and gas industry.
Having previously helped them with the naming of the business, they briefed us to refresh their identity to portray a more professional and contemporary image and also to reflect the next phase of the company’s growth.
Our research showed that Envoi had an excellent reputation in the industry for gathering data, for expert analysis and for presenting their findings in a unique and consistent way.
We therefore decided to take the idea of delivery and align it with the original idea behind the name – that of being a messenger. The brand proposition we suggested was “delivering energy opportunities” which reinforced the way they marketed their clients’ projects.
As the ultimate messenger, Mercury formed the basis for the identity and was framed in a hexagon – the building block of hydrocarbons.
