Rebranding

Tennis coach Phil Hofmeyr loves topspin. So much so that he made it his life’s mission to create a training aid that would help his students to master the art.

TopspinPro is the revolutionary result of his research and is based on two simple ideas: keeping your racket angle constant and brushing the ball – not hitting it. In fact, TopspinPro is so good it won’t let you swing the wrong way!

Having prototyped the product, Phil asked us to create an identity and graphic language that would help him take the product to market.

Our solution simply used the letter “O” to describe the angle of the racquet brushing the tennis ball.
