Elias String Quartet
Rebranding
Since forming in 1998 at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, the Elias String Quartet quickly established themselves as one of the most intense and vibrant quartets of their generation.
They approached us with a brief to give them a memorable look and feel that would appeal to a broader audience.
Our idea for the new identity focussed on the fact that Elias is a quartet and tried to introduce an element of “fourness” into the logotype by replacing the “A” with a “4” creating a logo that’s instantly ownable and relevant.
A graphic language derived from musical harmonographs accompanied the rebrand.
